Description

This 1.7 acre neighborhood park includes multi-use green space that includes playground equipment with sand/pea gravel surface, picnic table, and a grass play field with a backstop for playing ball. A beautiful large shade tree is located near the back of the park for shady relaxation.

Park History

Family and friends of fallen Kenosha County Deputy, Frank Fabiano, Jr. dedicated a park, located in Somers Township, in his name to help keep his memory alive.

Deputy Frank Fabiano was shot during a vehicle stop in the Town of Somers. He stopped a vehicle near the University of Wisconsin-Parkside campus in a subdivision just south of Highway E and east of Highway 31 at about 11:37 pm, when he was shot. He died at the age of 48 from his injuries.

Deputy Fabiano served with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department for 18 years. He had also served his country as a U.S. Marine.
