The 2009 Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan was adopted by the Somers Town Board on October 13, 2009.  The entire plan is provided on this page; however, for ease of research, the plan has been seperated into sections shown below.

 

Summary of The Plan:

  • provides an inventory of current park facilities
  • includes a study of the park and open space needs of the community
  • generates recommendations for additions and improvement
  • prioritizes a course of action for the next five years
