Highway E (12th Street) will be closed between Green Bay Road and 39th Avenue starting Feb. 12, 2024 for a culvert replacement. The work will be done by Wanasek for Kenosha County.

Drivers are encouraged to use Highway JR (Petrifying Springs Road) to get around the closure.

This work is the final phase of the county’s overall winter culvert rehabilitation. Please note that this work schedule is weather-dependent and is subject to change.

It is expected to be completed by Feb. 23, 2024.
