WE Energies map filed with the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin

WE Energies submitted an application to the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin on April 30, 2018 requesting approval to proceed with a proposed natural gas project that would serve the communities of Racine and Kenosha counties.  The project will improve reliability and support ongoing growth in the area.  The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources also will be involved in the routing process, including issuing necessary environmental permits and approvals.

During the permitting process, there will be opportunities for public input regarding the proposed project and routes.  If approved, construction may begin as early as July 2018 according to Don Bruessel, Project Manager for WE Energies.
