A total of 264 violations (average 44 per month) were written by the Village of Somers Deputy from December 1, 2016 – May 30, 2017.  Total revenue of $12,699.70 has been collected for the 264 violations.  The top ten offenses are:

  • Operate motor vehicle without insurance
  • Non-registration of auto, etc.
  • Speed zone and posted limits
  • Operating after suspension
  • Fail to stop at stop sign
  • Operate after revocation/suspension of registration
  • Automobile following too closely
  • Operate motor vehicle without proof of insurance
  • Operate without valid license
  • Vehicle operator fail to wear seat belt
