University of Wisconsin-Parkside Hiking and Biking Trails

See nature at its best on these Parkside hiking and biking trails.  Beginner, moderate, and difficult trails are marked on the sign at the trail heads or you can print the map here and take it with you.  Walk along the Pike River for a relaxing, scenic, meandering trail under the canopy of a natural hardwood forest environment.  The moderate and difficult trails provide an excellent example of the natural hilly glacier-carved terrain as well as exceptional rare examples of ancient maple and oak trees.  The trails are open for use year round.  Do not be surprised to see adventuresome people riding mountain bikes!  These trails are interesting in every season; however, the rainbow of color during the fall season is a spectacular time to visit.  Please note the parking areas on the map link above.
