In August, the UW Board of Regents included more than $29 million in its proposed UW System 2015-2017 capital planning budget in support of the Wyllie Hall Renewal and Academic Success project at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The proposed UW System budget now awaits legislative approval for inclusion in the 2015-2017 Wisconsin state budget. The project plan calls for renovation of more than 100,000 square feet of Wyllie Hall, originally constructed in 1972. The project would create a fully integrated and accessible student services area to support academic success. The establishment of a Learning Commons will provide a collaborative and integrated environment to accommodate the learning needs of students now and well into the future.
