Next Tuesday, June 9, 2015, the Village of Somers will hold its first election for Village President and Village Trustees.  Three Town Supervisors currently serving on the Town Board, Stoner, Brokmeier, and Heinisch, all reside in the Village and are no longer eligible to serve on the Town Board due to residency requirements.
