Firefighter Jake Farfalla of the Somers Fire and Rescue Department presented a check in the amount of $1,235.00 to Lisa Castelli, Vice President and Debbie Misurelli, President of Circle of Hope, a non-profit Kenosha organization that supports breast cancer patients.   The Somers Fire and Rescue Department members raised money for the organization through the sale of pink Somers Fire Dept. t-shirts throughout 2013.  Pink is the widely used color to commemorate the fight against breast cancer. All the money donated to Circle of Hope is used to help breast cancer survivors. The support group has been around for nine years this May and the non-profit is five years old.  For more information, visit the Circle of Hope website.  The check was presented at the Somers Fire and Rescue Association’s Feb. 18th meeting. The Somers Fire and Rescue Association is a nonprofit organization that supports the Somers Fire and Rescue Department’s charitable and community service endeavors and also raises money to benefit the department.
