The Wisconsin Department of Revenue will have staff from the Milwaukee Equalization District Office appraise properties in the Town of Somers toward the end of 2023.
The appraisers will:
- Conduct inspections of residential, commercial and agricultural properties
- Take photographs from public roads
- Contact owners of commercial properties to request onsite inspection, when applicable
Residents should be aware that all Wisconsin DOR employees conducting this review will carry state-issued photo identification.
The data will be used to establish the 2024 equalized values which will be certified Aug. 15, 2024. The results will not impact the assessed value of individual properties.
