Kenosha County will be reconstructing the intersection of Highway Y (22nd Avenue) and Highway A (Seventh Street).

A public information meeting has been scheduled on Monday, March 20, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Somers Village Hall, 7511 12th St.

A brief presentation will be given from 5:15 to 5:30 p.m.

Work on this project is scheduled to begin later in March, continuing through August.

The intersection will be closed and a detour will be posted beginning March 22.

The project includes converting the intersection from a 4-way stop to a single-lane roundabout. Access to local residences and businesses will remain during construction.
