Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers in a press release has asked residents, businesses or any organizations who have personal protection equipment that they are not using to please make it available to first responders and healthcare workers on the frontline so they can protect themselves from COVID-19 and keep Wisconsinites safe. There is a global shortage of these much-needed items due to the pandemic.
The state is currently seeking the following items:
- Surgical gowns (S, L, XL, and XXL)
- Face/surgical masks (adult and pediatric)
- Gloves (nitrile, vinyl or butyl)
- N-95 particulate respirators
- Isolation gowns
- Face shields
- Tyvek coveralls
- Thermometers
- Foot coverings
Organizations are encourage to donate these items, but the state is prepared to pay fair market price for large quantities. You can register for the donation/buyback program at this link.
