Hawthorn Hollow’s annual summer concert series continues this Friday the 19th with Trombone Dave and the Lawn Clippings. The nature sanctuary and arboretum is located at 880 Green Bay Rd. in Somers. With an all-star lineup this band infuses traditional jazz and blues for an exciting show not to miss. They will be performing along the Pike River at Hawthorn Hollow’s beautiful outdoor amphitheater. The concert will be from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is. Food, wine, local beer from Public Craft Brewing Co., and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Only cash will be accepted, no credit cards. Carry-ins are not permitted. All proceeds go to Hawthorn Hollow.
