In celebration of May being National Water Safety Awarness Month, the Kenosha Safety Around Water Coalition is holding safety demonstrations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday May 11 at the lakefront just north of HarborMarket.
Opening ceremonies will be at 10 a.m. and free life-jackets will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Demonstrations include:
- Throw bag demonstrations
- Throw ring demonstrations
- Water rescue demonstrations
- Capsized boat demonstrations
