Crown Brands LLC is hiring 50 people for their new facility located at 8725 31st St. in the Somers First Park 94 industrial park. 

The Lincolnshire, Ill. company is relocating its Savannah, Ga. warehouse to be closer to its headquarters. 

Greg Brennecke, executive vice president of operations and supply, explained that relocating to Somers will will allow products to be shipped anywhere in the country more efficiently.

The company is looking for forklift operators, inventory control personnel, pickers and people to work in the packaging and shipping department. 

Trucks have already been moving products to the new 300,000-square-foot facility. It is expected to open for business on March 4.

The company is hoping to expand the warehouse in the next few years.
