The crane arrived on the morning of May 16th to install new LED lights and poles, replacing 40-year old equipment at the softball field at Somers Memorial Park.  The 360 youth registered for the Somers 2017 softball leagues will now have a better chance of catching those outfield fly balls!  Somers extends a big thank you for the generous $10,000 donation from Festival Foods which was allocated toward the $120,000 cost of the new field lights.
