In light of the current coronavirus outbreak, voters cast a ballot in the spring election need to know the following:

As the Somers Village/Town offices are closed to the public until the “Safer-at-Home” order is lifted by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers. early voting and other related activities is by appointment only.

Booths have been placed six feet apart and are disinfected hourly. Voters are encouraged to bring their own black ink pen to mark their ballots (please no gel pens or markers such as Sharpies).

Absentee voting procedures are detailed in this notice.

Voters can registration to vote and apply for an absentee ballot on the My Vote Wisconsin website. The deadline to request an absentee ballot was extended to March 30 (Kenosha County press release).

The deadline to request mail-out absentee ballot is 5 p.m. April 2. The deadline to vote in person is 5 p.m. April 3.
