Stephen C. Mills and S.R. Mills of Bear Development, and George Stoner, President of the Village of Somers Trustees signed final documents on January 14, 2015 for Bear’s new 280-unit apartment complex that will be built at 31^st Street and Highway 31.  This final step gives Bear the green light to begin earth moving as early as next week.  The new apartments will be near Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, and a new Festival Foods store which began its earth moving several weeks ago. 

Bear Development’s Market Square Apartments will feature 14 residential buildings that contain studio, one, two, and three bedroom units.  The 280-unit residential community will offer a wide array of amenities such as a fenced pet area, playground, community garden, walking path, outdoor pool, clubhouse, fitness center and more.
