Hundreds of Somers residents, their families and members of nearby communities lined up on both sides of Highway E for the annual Somers Fourth of July Parade to watch first responders, floats and marching bands and for the kids to collect candy.

The theme of the parade this year was “Celebrate the Red, White and Blue in 2022.”
