The Somers Fire & Rescue Association held its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday April 13 between 9 and 11 a.m. for children between one and 12 years old at Somers Memorial Park, located behind the Village/Town Hall.
The event was busy right from the start as kids and family ran through the park gathering Easter Eggs that they turned in for hundreds of prizes and treats. More than 50 families attend the event this year.
“It was great to see so many families from ours and other local communities come out to participate,” said organizer Somers Fire & Rescue Association Secretary Angela Lasecki. “We were honored to have had the turnout we did and able to gift hundreds of prizes and treats. We’ll see you at Community Day.”
The association would like to especial thank: Kwik Trip Store #597, Jerry Smith’s Farm, Ruffolo’s Salon and Spa, Golden Oil, and Visit Kenosha.
