Highway KR
One lane in each directions of Highway KR is open and all driveways are in. Final curbing work is under way. Landscaping and electrical work is still being worked on. Crossroad 113th Ave. should reopen in a few days. Traffic lights will be installed at 100th Ave. It will remain closed to the public until then.
I-94 will remain open from Highway 142 to Highway 20 in its present configuration until the center walls are completed. If weather allows, concrete for the center wall will be poured. Traffic pattern for the northbound lanes would change.
Scheduled closures in Somers for the week of Sunday Dec. 8:
- Sunday, I-94 northbound from Highway 142 to Highway KR will be closed from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. the following day for guardrail repair.
- Wednesday Dec. 11, I-94 northbound from Highway 142 to Highway 20 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m for barriers removal.
- Thursday Dec. 12, I-94 northbound from Highway 142 to Highway 20 will close at 10 p.m. to construct a message board over the roadway.
- Friday Dec. 13, I-94 northbound from Highway 142 to Highway 20 will close from 10 p.m. to 5 am. the following day to remove temporary barriers.
