Somers Village-Town Intergovernmental Agreement
On or about April 24, 2016, the State of Wisconsin issued an incorporation certificate, recognizing the Village of Somers as an independent Wisconsin municipality consisting of lands that were formerly located in the Town of Somers. In order to continue the adequate provision of services on a cost effective basis, the Town and Village entered into this Intergovernmental Agreement where the Village will provide the majority of all municipal services for the benefit of the Town and Village. The Town and Village will share the costs in accordance with the proportions and terms of this Agreement.
