About

Shoreland Lutheran High School opened in 1971 at Friedens Lutheran Church in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  The current building, located in Somers Township, was constructed in 1979 with an addition to the west end and major internal renovations completed in 1997.  Click here to learn about the new addition that was dedicated September, 2014.  The addition was approved by the Somers Plan commission.  Minutes dated April 7, 2014.  Mr. Joseph Clarke, Architect of Groth Design Group.

Shoreland is a private high school, grades 9-12, that is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod and is operated by a federation of 24 area congregations.  Enrollment exceeds 300 which allows for a student to faculty ratio of 12 to 1.

Shoreland offers a variety of courses, including a business course designed to jump start the students for college level business courses and a pre-ministry program for students wishing to become teachers or pastors in the synod.  In addition, Shoreland offers (AP) Advanced Placement classes in Biology, Chemistry, Spanish, and Physics.
